Welcome to The Maine Mountain Division Trail web site. This trail runs from Rt. 202 in Windham, to the New Hampshire border! The Maine State DOT purchased this abandon rail line in 1997. The Maine Mountain Division Alliance was then formed and has been working to establish a recreational use trail along the corridor to connect our Maine communities. So far 10 million dollars have been spent upgrading the trail for uses such as walking, biking, XC skiing, etc.
